BOSSIER CITY, La. - While potholes are a persistent challenge for Shreveport and other cities in the ArkLaTex, Bossier City officials say they are doing their best to stay on top of road repairs.
Most pothole repairs in the city start with a phone call from a concerned citizen.
Residents can report potholes to the Public Works department's Streets and Drainage division by calling 318-741-8402.
"The first thing we have to do is identify them and know they are there. Normally they are reported by city employees, but most commonly by citizens," said public information officer Louis Johnson.
Once the report is made, a list of problem areas will be compiled, and workers will be sent out to make repairs.
