Billions of dollars in federal budget cuts are being felt throughout the country, and even by the students in the Navy Junior ROTC program at South Point High School.For years, the Navy has provided about $13,000 annually to transport cadets in the program on a spring bus trip to visit a naval base or other military facility.Next spring, the students were scheduled to visit Marine Base Quantico in Virginia. But that trip is in jeopardy now because the school has been notified that the Navy funding will not be coming.Also in jeopardy because of the budget cuts are $15,000 for new uniforms the Navy had planned to provide this year.Two South Point High parents, who also are officers in the NJROTC Booster Club, told Belmont Rotary Club members about the hurdle they are facing when they spoke a
