YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Police have identified the man killed in an officer-involved shooting last week in Youngstown.

A police report released Thursday identifies the man as Arthur Tyrone Mitchell.

The report states that officers were sent to an address in the 4100 block of Rush Boulevard for a report of a suspicious man, and while officers were on the scene, shots were fired and an officer was wounded.

Other officers then responded and located the suspect in the attic of a house, where there was an exchange of gunfire, and Mitchell died, according to the report.

The officer who was shot had non-life-threatening injuries and was transported for medical treatment.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) is investigating the incident.
