WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - An employee of Trumbull County Children Services is on paid administrative leave pending an investigation.

According to a response to a public records request made by WKBN, the employee was placed on leave on September 15 as part of an investigation and pre-disciplinary conference regarding a "lack of documentation and tracking of agency funds."

The agency did not provide further information about the allegations and investigation.

Police were contacted about the investigation on September 24, according to a police report. The police report gave no further details.

Criminal charges have not been filed in the case.
