SALINE COUNTY — A Slater woman who admitted her role in a 2021 Saline County murder case will spend the rest of her life in prison.
Online court records say Tammy Hrabe was sentenced to life the Department of Corrections on Tuesday.
Tammy pleaded guilty to being an accessory to second-degree murder, abandonment of a corpse and evidence tampering in August. In 2021 she and and Wayne Hrabe killed Judith Young, 57, by suffocating her with a plastic bag. The couple claimed they were helping Young take her own life. They then disposed of her body in the Missouri River.
Wayne died at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center in 2022 while serving a 15-year sentence for habitual DWI.
