The Pentagon is calling out Netflix ‘s new show, Boots .

The United States Department of Defense issued a statement regarding the LGBTQ-themed series, out now on the streamer.

Miles Heizer leads the coming-of-age dramedy inspired by Greg Cope White ’s memoir The Pink Marine . The show follows closeted teen Cameron Cope and his best friend Ray McAffey ( Liam Oh ) as they enter Marine Corps boot camp in 1990.
