After months of quietly drifting through our solar system, Comet Lemmon is finally ready for its grand debut — a rare cameo we won’t witness again for another thousand years.

On Thursday, Oct. 16, the bright green comet — C/2025 A6 Lemmon — will make quite the sparkly cameo, alongside a bright star known as Cor Caroli.
