The Corona High School senior in the Corona-Norco Unified School District’s Aviation Pathway program, earned his private pilot certificate, a news release states.

It’s a “rare and remarkable achievement for a high school student,” the release states.

Sixty-five flight hours are typically logged to get the license, but Lambert needed 40 — the Federal Aviation Administration minimum.
