This year’s Lakers preseason has been more about what hasn’t happened than what has.

We’ve only seen Luka Dončić play in one game. LeBron James will be out till possibly mid-November with sciatica. Add in the rest of the main guys taking turns sitting out games, and you end up with a 1-4 preseason record and never having the full Lakers roster available for action.

Friday, though, we’ll finally see the Lakers take a more serious approach in the finale.

Lakers head coach JJ Redick stated after their loss to the Mavericks that they’ll be treating their last preseason game as a dress rehearsal.
