YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A hip-hop music video has made its debut in the school where it was recorded.

Choffin Career & Technical Center juniors were able to watch the premiere of Nova the Rebel's video for "Black Inventors" in the Main Commons.

It was filmed at Choffin, with students taking part in various aspects of it, including hair design, music production and recording.

Nova the Rebel is a teaching artist who partners with the school's Music Production & Recording program.

"He does it in a way that connects for the kids," said Bridget Lambright Tommelleo, YCS fine arts supervisor. "He gets them excited about coming to school, gets them excited about learning, so that's very important to the district."
