Former Warren Fitzgerald Public Schools superintendent Hollie Lyn Stange had her Oct. 16 pre-trial hearing adjourned until Nov. 20 in 37th District Court Thursday.

The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in front of Judge John Chmura.

Stange allegedly was in possession of a firearm within a weapons-free school zone on Dec. 20, 2024.

In September, a felony charge of marijuana possession on school property was dismissed.

Stange and former food services director Amanda Gail Carroll were arrested last December after both women were allegedly smoking marijuana in Carroll’s vehicle within 1,000 feet of Fitzgerald High School grounds.

After both women separately drove away from the scene, traffic stops were executed and a handgun was allegedly found in Stange’s vehicle.
