A Saudi Arabian national struck and killed last week by a bus has been identified.
The Suffolk District Attorney’s office identified the deceased as 40-year-old Alhanouf Alhazzaa.
She was struck and killed just before 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, by a Boston University Medical Center shuttle bus along the 700-block of Albany Street, according to authorities. He was pinned under the bus and declared dead at the scene. The authorities are continuing to investigate.
“I’m deeply sorry for the family’s loss and I’m grateful for the assistance of the Saudi consulate in helping put investigators in touch with Mr. Alhazzaa’s relatives,” Suffolk DA Kevin Hayden said.
