The Northwestern Lehigh field hockey team avenged two prior losses with one-goal wins to retain its Colonial League championship.
After upsetting top-seeded Salisbury 3-2 in the semifinals Tuesday night, the fourth-seeded Tigers defeated second-seeded Southern Lehigh 2-1 in overtime to earn their second-straight league championship Thursday night.
