Referencing the October 10 story about the town selecting natural grass for the ball fields at the John Neill baseball fields. Upside: the Canada geese will be ecstatic. Upside: the DPW will not have to fertilize. Downside: goose poop.

I’m no expert, but this past week I noticed at least 100 geese on both the Lawrence and Gus Canty fields.
