A community living on the site of London’s most iconic greyhound stadium say the state-of-the-art redevelopment has made their lives a complete misery. Residents in Stadium Place, which until 2008 was Walthamstow Stadium, have been plagued with flooding, energy cuts and dangerous cladding since it opened in 2017.

Developers London & Quadrant (L&Q) evicted all 29 households from one block in 2022 and has been using it to decant residents from other parts of Stadium Place while it slowly fixes problems across the 294-home development. As a result families are forced to leave their homes for six months while poorly installed windows and roofs are fixed.
