Nameberry released the 10 biggest trends for baby names next year, and one is tipped to be more popular than the others.

Vowel hiatus names are poised to be the most trendy names next year, according to Sophie Kihm from Nameberry.

"These names – with stacked vowel sounds and very few consonants – are rising in popularity worldwide," she told Nine.com.au.

The style of vowel hiatus names are ones that have the enunciation of two distinct adjoining vowels and there are a lot of options within these names for different styles, giving them even more appeal.
