SRINAGAR : Police in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district have arrested two drug peddlers who had been evading arrest for nearly two decades in separate NDPS Act cases registered at Police Station Qazigund. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

The arrested individuals have been identified as Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh, son of Gh Qadir Sheikh, resident of Nassu Badrahgund, and Bilal Ahmad Ganie, son of Gh Nabi Ganie, resident of Lalen Ganoor Kulgam, presently residing at Levdora near Railway Bridge Qazigund.

According to police, Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh was wanted in FIR No. 107/2005 under Sections 15/18 NDPS Act and was apprehended from near JK Bank Qazigund after evading arrest for around 20 years. Bilal Ahmad Ganie was wanted in FIR No. 223/2006 under the same sections of the NDPS A
