DALLAS — As the Dallas Mavericks look to a hopeful future under No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg, they're also giving fans and players a blast from the past.

The team announced Thursday that players will don the classic green Mavs jerseys for select games this season, paying homage to the franchise's early days in the 1980s.

The throwback jerseys are part of a larger collection of apparel produced by Mitchell and Ness, celebrating the Mavericks' 45th anniversary. Fans can get their hands on jerseys of current players and Mavs icons like including Sonju, Brad Davis, Derek Harper, Rolando Blackman and Mark Aguirre.
