CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Emergency response in Harrison and Madison townships, and those served by mutual aid, will be bolstered by the addition of two new fire engines, following the Harrison Township Board of Trustees’ vote last week to approve their purchase. The new equipment will expand the Harrison Township Division of Fire’s capacity to respond to fires and other emergencies, improving service to residents across both communities.
The department added a 2,000-gallon tanker truck to its fleet this month. A 101-foot platform ladder truck is scheduled to arrive in 2027. Together, the vehicles will support a more capable and resilient regional fire response.
The purchases are made possible through collaboration and financial support from the Pickaway County Port Authority (PCPA), Pickaway
