The war against drugs continues, and with the state's unwavering pace and dedication, victory seems certain.
In a dedicated and tireless effort initiated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate the drug menace from Punjab, on the 220th day of the ongoing campaign, the state police conducted raids at 343 locations on Tuesday and arrested 80 drug smugglers in a single day, following the registration of 53 First Information Reports (FIRs) across the state, the Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab, said in a press release.
With these recent arrests, the total number of drug smugglers apprehended since the initiative began has reached 32,196.
