A conscript from Russia's elite Aerospace Forces went on a shooting spree with an assault rifle at a military unit, targeting his fellow soldiers. Reports indicate that two soldiers were killed and five injured, one critically. ‌

The shooter, who is among the deceased, reportedly turned the gun on himself after firing at contract soldiers. One of the wounded soldiers is currently battling for his life in hospital. The incident took place at an Aerospace Forces unit in the Naro-Fominsk district of the Moscow region.
