Plans have been submitted for a new roundabout next to a growing new town in Cambridgeshire . If approved, the roundabout would be on the A10 at Waterbeach.

A spokesperson for developers Urban&Civic said the planning application marked a "significant step forward in delivering key transport infrastructure to support the emerging new town at Waterbeach".

The roundabout will serve as the main gateway to the new town. It will also connect a proposed new travel hub that will include Park & Ride facilities, a dedicated busway to Cambridge, and access to the relocated Waterbeach rail station.
