Marvel Television keeps chugging along. Wonder Man might be the antidote to “superhero fatigue.” I’ve said that before and been wrong. This looks fun in a way that’s lampooning the process behind making Marvel movies, and it’s me giving serious Ms. Marvel vibes. Plus, I really love this Ben Kingsley character.

Wonder Man stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II ( Candyman ), Zlatko Burić ( Triangle of Sadness ), Ben Kingsley, X Mayo, Olivia Thirlby ( Dredd ), Lauren Glazier ( Mindhunter ), Byron Bowers ( Kimi ), Demetrius Grosse, and Ed Harris.

The eight-episode series premieres on Disney+ on January 27th.
