Belmont University announced Friday it has officially launched the public phase of its Hope Transforms campaign — a $700 million effort that is the most robust fundraising undertaking in the school’s 135-year history.

According to a release, the campaign has been in a quiet phase for about four years, with approximately $300 million having been committed. The goal is to reach the $700 million by 2030.

A previous similar campaign, dubbed We Believe, raised about $326 million and concluded in 2021 (read here ).
