I know I'm not the only new mom who's looked forward to the day their baby could finally try real food. It's something that made me smile long before he could actually do it — probably even something my husband and I talked about on our babymoon , months before he was born. Don't get me wrong, though; I've cherished every bottle, every snuggle, every sleepy milk-drunk smile that's come with breastfeeding , but watching my little one discover the joy of food felt like a major milestone.
