BENSONHURST — COMMUNITY LEADERS TOOK A WALKING TOUR ALONG BAY PARKWAY on Thursday, Oct. 16, to meet with business owners and shoppers to learn of their concerns. Assemblymember William Colton, D-47; Captain Mohammad Islam, commanding officer of the 62nd Precinct; Dr. Tim Law, president of Chinese American Social Services; Marnee Elias-Pavia, district manager of Community Board 11; Bay Parkway Merchants Association President Paul Li; Democratic District Leaders Nancy Tong and Larry He; and representatives of City Councilmember Susan Zhuang participated in the walk. They stopped at medical offices, pharmacies, delis and two senior centers along the route.
