Several retail properties in Milton have traded hands. The buyer was an entity affiliated with Phillips Edison & Company, Inc., and the seller was an entity affiliated with Tourmaline Capital, according to Pierce County public records. The sales price was $41 million, or about $205 per square foot. Industry reports show the properties are part of the same retail complex and span in total around 200,000 square feet.

The properties in the sale are located at 900, 920, 940, 960 and 980 Meridian East. The main portion of the site, built in 1984 and renovated in 2007, is a dual grocery and drug-anchored center shadow-anchored by Safeway, according to LoopNet.com.
