The Broom Factory was aptly named on Saturday as the inaugural Kingston Witches Market took over the live entertainment venue.

The humour wasn’t lost on those visiting the event that there were handmade brooms for sale at a witches’ market being held at the Broom Factory.
The event scared up a wide range of vendors with runes, crystals, books of spells, and in the creepy yet beautiful category, an amateur entomologist had insects under glass for sale.
However, the most captivating feature was a couple of women at two tables on the stage.
Not witches, but dressing the part for the occasion, were psychic mediums Tracie Watson and Elizabeth Sceviour.
Sceviour, in an interview with the Whig, said she possesses “inherited gifts.”
