Oregon State tight end Riley Williams is out for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Williams — a former star for Central Catholic High School in Portland — suffered a torn labrum in his shoulder in OSU’s second game of the season against Fresno State, his father Antwain told The Oregonian/OregonLive on Friday.
Williams, the junior transfer from Miami, played through the injury for the remainder of the game. He and OSU staff didn’t know it was torn until Williams got imaging done in the weeks after. Prior to his injury, Williams started at tight end for the Beavers alongside Bryce Caufield.
Just days before he was set to have shoulder surgery, Williams suffered another setback.
