Publix is recalling one of its store-brand ice cream flavors due to the presence of an undeclared allergen.

The grocery chain says its Rich and Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream may contain egg, which is not listed on the ingredient label. The affected product may also have been packaged with a mismatched French Vanilla container lid.

The recalled ice cream is sold in half-gallon containers with a sell-by date of June 19, 2026. It was distributed at Publix stores across six southeastern states.

Publix reports there have been no illnesses linked to the product.

Customers who purchased the ice cream can return it to their local store for a full refund.

More information is available on the Publix website.
