NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) — Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) installed a power line a few months ago in a Norman neighborhood. In doing so, one family claims they snapped their sewer line and won't pay the full amount to replace it.

Paula Fugate and her family are now faced with footing the cost to replace the ruptured sewer line.

"I've gotten estimates anywhere from $8,500 to $13,000," Fugate said.

OG&E went to the neighborhood near 12th and Alameda at the end of July and start of August to drill a line through the neighborhood, Fugate said.

"A couple weeks later, my dad started having his shower back up. So we called the plumber," said Fugate.

The plumber dug a six-foot hole and was easily able to locate the damaged part of the sewer line.
