BUCKEYE, AZ (AZFamily) — Traffic in the far West Valley was slow-moving because of a serious crash on Interstate 10 in Buckeye on Friday evening.

The crash involving at least two cars and an SUV happened on the eastbound side of I-10 just east of Verrado Way. Three lanes were blocked, so only the HOV lane was open.

We’ve reached out to the Department of Public Safety about any injuries and what led up to the crash.

The eastbound lanes were reopened around 6 p.m.

The westbound lanes were not affected.
