CHEYENNE – The local man arrested for the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old in the parking lot of King Soopers waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday. The case has moved up to the district court.

Mansoor Ali, 21, was arrested Oct. 9 on one count of second-degree murder and four counts of aggravated assault in relation to a road rage incident that resulted in the death of 19-year-old Benjamin “Benji” Glenn.

On Sept. 20, Ali attempted to interject in a conflict between Glenn, three of his peers and Walmart employees. The employees rejected his offer to help, according to court documents. Ali then followed Glenn and his friends down Dell Range Boulevard.
