Shillong, Oct 17: West Shillong MLA Paul Lyngdoh conducted a comprehensive inspection of various sites within his constituency today, focusing on roads and water supply.

The inspection was attended by representatives from the dorbar shnong and government officials from various line departments.

Lyngdoh announced that work on road rejuvenation would be expedited, with a component of the project already covered under the Rs 25 crore project announced by the Chief Minister.

He said that the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) has extended full support for the rejuvenation and renovation of the existing National Highway 6 (the Shillong end of which runs through part of the constituency), with estimates prepared and tendering expected within three weeks.
