Continental Tire the Americas is recalling about 7,000 tires, including some TerrainContact and CrossContact models. The issue stems from a manufacturing error — some tires may have been made with the wrong rubber compound, which could lead to tread separation and increase the risk of a crash. Affected owners will be notified by mail in December and offered replacement options.
