AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Independent School District is investigating after an email was sent from a Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA) High School counselor to a senior family containing transcripts for all LASA seniors, according to a letter from the Principal Stacia Crescenzi.

"The moment we discovered the disclosure, we worked with our teams to begin isolating the issue, determining the cause and any necessary actions. The student information was isolated to the senior class. No other grade levels were affected," the letter said in part.

The file had GPA, course credits along with personal information, like phone numbers and home addresses, the letter said.
