TALLADEGA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A First Alert Weather Day beginning Saturday night until Sunday morning for showers, storms, and possibly damaging winds could impact Sunday’s race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Race fans at Talladega Superspeedway say this is a huge weekend for them. Despite being cautious, they are not going to let the weather change their plans.

“If we don’t want to walk to the shower house, we’ll just walk out in the rain then we’ll go back in. We brought changes of clothes, WOO HOO TALLADEGA,” said Chris Parent from Arkansas.

NASCAR race fans have gathered at superspeedway this weekend to enjoy the sights and sounds of racing. With rain in the forecast for Sunday, Patty Lankford from Texas says she’s paying close attention to the weather.
