Nestled in a little corner of Cambridgeshire lies a rather beautiful village with a name that often gets a few giggles. Trumpington is a little village on the outskirts of Cambridge more than 12,000 people call home.

This little village has quite the history, beginning at the Domesday Book of 1086, which recorded a community of 33 "peasants." The population had risen to 100 by the late 13th century and since then, it has grown immensely to the rather large place it is today.

It has quite the history, with archaeologists discovering evidence of Iron Age and Roman settlements near the River Cam ford by the road to Grantchester, and a Roman cemetery. An Anglo-Saxon cemetery has also been found nearby at Dam Hill.
