Adilabad: The day-long bandh demanding 42 per cent reservations for BCs passed off peacefully across the erstwhile Adilabad district on Saturday.
TGSRTC buses remained confined to depots in Adilabad, Nirmal, Utnoor, Asifabad, Mancherial and Bhainsa, causing inconvenience to passengers. Leaders from BC communities took out a bike rally in Adilabad town and later garlanded the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar before submitting a representation.
