Synopsis: In Bengaluru, 20-year-old B Pharmacy student Yamini Priya was brutally murdered by Vignesh, 26, after rejecting his marriage proposal. Vignesh, aided by friend Harish, 30, slit her throat and stabbed her face near a railway track. The duo was arrested on 17 October. In a case that shocked Bengaluru, a 20-year-old B Pharmacy student was murdered just because she spurned the advances of a man who proposed to her.

The victim has been identified as Yamini Priya. She was a resident of Swatantra Palya and a student at a private college in Banashankari.

The accused, Vignesh, allegedly killed Yamini on 16 October by slitting her throat and stabbing her multiple times in the face
