The FASTag annual pass, launched by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), offers smooth travel on national highways and expressways across the country. The pass can be gifted easily through the Rajmargyatra app. By selecting the ‘Add Pass’ option, users can enter the vehicle number and the recipient’s contact details. A quick OTP verification activates the pass on the FASTag linked to that vehicle. The pass is valid at around 1,150 toll plazas, giving drivers a cost-effective and convenient way to travel, the ministry of road transport and highway said in a statement.
