US President Donald Trump is no stranger to ‘ending’ international wars — having claimed credit for singlehandedly averting multiple global crises over the past year. The POTUS has now insisted that he could “easily” solve the ongoing Pakistan-Afghanistan ‘if’ he chose to intervene.

“I do understand Pakistan attacked or there is an attack going on with Afghanistan, that’s an easy one for me to solve if I have to solve that…I like stopping people from being killed. I have saved millions and millions of lives, and I think we are going to have success with this war, “ the US president said.

The remarks came during a bilateral lunch with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday against the backdrop of multiple airstrikes in Afghanistan.
