Patna : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment of restoring Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood “at an appropriate time,” while assuring a “good resolution” of the ongoing demands raised by the people of Ladakh.

Speaking at a media conclave organised by ABP News and Hindustan in Patna, Shah highlighted the “transformative change” in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370. He said that the region, once plagued by terrorism, has “taken a U-turn,” adding that “no local terrorist has been recruited in the last nine months.”
