Dehradun: The medical community has expressed outrage and raised concerns over the dignity and privacy of medical professionals after a shocking incident at Government Doon Medical College (GDMC), Dehradun, where a senior neurosurgeon was allegedly abused, assaulted , and manhandled by a reporter in the presence of police officials.

A video of the reporter allegedly shouting and grabbing the doctor by the collar has gone viral on social media. It has been reported that the police accused the doctor of being drunk on duty, but the doctor denied it and even offered to be tested. During the conversation, the reporter began shouting and was recording the incident. When the doctor asked him not to interfere, the reporter allegedly became angry and assaulted him.
