I’m sort of past the point of caring whether other people like the Amazing Spider-Man duology, but regardless of what I think of it, it’s fair to say that it’s the most divisive movie version of the web slinger thus far.

Andrew Garfield’s turn as the hero is relatively well liked, but many of the plotting decisions and overall direction left some with a bad taste, meaning that we never made it to the heady heights of a third movie.

Whilst we did get to see the actor return in No Way Home, it gave most of us only another glimpse at what might have been, had he been allowed to star in movies of genuine, immense quality.

That said, many are not yet ready to let the dream of another Garfield-fronted Spider-Man movie die and they take every opportunity to ask him about it. Including GQ, who
