A recent update on the progress of a live-action adaptation of Horizon Zero Dawn shows that everything seems to be going smoothly, and it has created both excitement and debate among fans.

Horizon Zero Dawn is already a cinematic triumph, and one would argue that a film isn’t really needed, however, in the campaign to get more stories in front of more people, the film begins shooting in 2026.

The aim is to release the film in the following year, which seems like a quick turnaround for such a special effects heavy production.
