Salford City's League Two match with Oldham Athletic was halted due to a protest over co-owner Gary Neville.

Fans invaded the pitch in the first half wearing white hoodies which read ' Gary Neville is a traitor'.

The supporters also waved the flag of St George, while one tried to plant theirs in the middle of the centre-circle.

Stewards at Salford's Peninsula Stadium removed at least two pitch invaders who made it onto the playing surface during a brief stoppage in play.

The protest was accompanied by chants of 'Gary Neville is a w*****' and 'England'.
