A 'police incident' has resulted in the A500 being closed at the Hanford Interchange. Traffic is currently at a standstill due to the ongoing incident.

Stoke City FC have posted on social media to make supporters heading to the home clash with Wrexham aware of the delays.

Traffic monitoring system Inrix states: "A500 D Road Southbound blocked, stationary traffic due to police incident at A34 Stone Road (Hanford Interchange)."

In a social media post, Stoke City said: "Supporters should note there is a road closure due to a police incident at the Hanford Interchange of the A34 and A500."
