SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Upstate and western North Carolina residents are preparing for another round of “No Kings” protests.
Organizers said on Oct. 18, communities will come together for a day of nonviolent protests.
This comes after millions of people across the United States held a single-day protest on June 14 against President Trump. Organizers said, “The October 18 day of action is the next step in this growing movement, channeling that energy into yet another coordinated, peaceful mobilization.”
Here’s a list of protests planned in our area:
Upstate
Spartanburg - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Church Street and St. John Street
Greenville - 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Falls Park Amphitheatre
Seneca - 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Seneca City Hall
Western North Carolina
Asheville - 6
