NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans is celebrating spooky season with family-friendly Halloween events through October.

From kid-safe trick-or-treating events to ghost tours in the French Quarter and Haunted Houses at an actual mortuary, New Orleans has everything you need to have a scary-good time.

Here is a list of Halloween events happening in the New Orleans area.

Ghost in the Oaks

Ghost in the Oaks continues the spooky fun in City Park, offering activities, unlimited rides, live entertainment and trick-or-treating. The event runs Saturday and Sunday starting at 5 p.m. Tickets are $22.
